The yearly sport game bananza kicks into full gear and EA Sports release there trailer for EA Sports UFC 6. Starting with a legendary shot of Cover Athlete Max Holloway fighting against the polarising Conor McGregor, boasting “Actual Gameplay,” we see the two rivals square off, Max hitting Conor with a 3-piece before finishing him with another perfect combo of blows.
Later in the video, we see some glimpses of what I think might be a WWE2K-esque “Island” type mode, alongside a small snippet of what looks like a career mode, something I look forward to with every fighting game that comes out.
Moving along in the trailer, narration begins, accompanied by Sammy Davis Jr.’s Classic “I Got To Be Me.” The narration contains buzzwords you’d expect in a fighting game trailer, like “Combo” and “So You Want To Be A Fighter.” All while action shots of Current and Legend fighters come and go, along with the aforementioned “Island” and Career mode shots.
Some fighters that are included in the trailer include, Max Holloway, Conor Mcgregor, B.J Penn, Nick Diaz, As well as a host of others. We also see some fighters that will come in the “Fighter Pass,” them being Ken Shamrock & Randy Couture.
The trailer concludes with a shot of all the things you can expect to receive if you decide to pre-order UFC 6. These include the “Fighter Pass,” “VIP Pass” & other things. Plus a Seven day early accsess period. Of course all this is only included in the tippity top “Ultimate Edition.”
EA SPORTS UFC 6 will be released on June 19, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, priced at $69.99 and $99.99 for the ultimate edition. Sadly, just like last year’s entry, there has been no version announced for PC.
