Deep Rock Galactic Expands with New Card Game and Premium Collectibles

Ghost Ship Games is giving Deep Rock Galactic fans even more ways to bring Rock and Stone home, announcing two new Kickstarter projects in partnership with MOOD Publishing and Heroic Replicas.

The first is a new line of officially licensed collectibles from Heroic Replicas, headlined by a 1:1 scale Deep Rock Galactic pickaxe. Made from metal and weighing approximately 16 pounds, the replica proved to be an immediate success, reaching its Kickstarter funding goal in just 33 minutes. The campaign also includes the game’s soundtrack on vinyl, official apparel, a USB-powered Flare Lamp, and a Bosco and Doretta building block set available to Early Bird backers. A niche market but with style points at least.

Tabletop fans also have something to look forward to. MOOD Publishing has revealed a Deep Rock Galactic card game, scheduled to launch on Kickstarter this September. Designed for 2 to 6 players, the game combines bluffing, betting, and mining as players compete to collect the most Morkite while surviving another dangerous expedition beneath Hoxxes IV.

Between a premium collectible line and a dedicated card game, Ghost Ship Games continues to expand Deep Rock Galactic beyond its co-op shooter roots. Collectors can already back the replica campaign, while prospective miners can sign up to be notified when the card game Kickstarter launches later this year.
