Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for Dragon Quest VII reimagined. They have also given us some new, exciting details following the opening movie trailer for the game. That information is that a demo for the game is on the way!
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined’s demo will be released on January 7th, 2026. It is not defined how much of the game you will be able to play, but the good news is that the save data from the demo can transfer to the full game. You also get an outfit for Maribel in the game by completing the demo, and you can transfer to the full game when it is released. The demo will be available for all platforms where the game will be available.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined will be available on February 5th, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
