Idea Factory International is excited to announce that the action platformer, Ariana and the Elder Codex will be launching in North America and Europe physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on March 24, 2026! The game is also coming to Steam in Spring 2026. The Steam version will include English and Japanese voiceover options, along with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitle options.
Ariana and the Elder Codex was announced two months ago. It is an action platformer being developed by Compile Heart and Hyde. The main character, Ariana Virellis, can use magic for offensive abilities. Ariana Virellis is on a mission to repair the Seven Hero Codices. There have been changes to the tome that have ruined the world by removing magic. By using her librarian powers, Ariana can enter these Codices and mend them back to how they were before.
Also worth noting is that the main game’s website got updated with new characters and new systems in place.
Ariana and the Elder Codex will release on March 24th, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. It will be coming to Steam in Spring 2026.
