PAX East 2022 badges go on sale today!

While the majority of us have been stuck in our homes, missing out on the few gaming conventions that took place this year. Penny Arcade and Reedpop want to change this and have announced that badges for PAX East 2022 will go on sale, starting today at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. PAX East 2022 will take place from Thursday, April 21, 2022, to Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), in Boston, MA.

Just like the previous events, there will be four-day passes priced at $235 and single-day passes priced at $62. These badges will be available on the PAX East website. Registration for content creators and media/press also opens up today, and you can register for those badges here.

PAX East will return with a massive show floor featuring hundreds of publishers, developers, and vendors, to be announced in the coming months leading up to the show. Attendees can expect a full weekend of panels, live shows from Penny Arcade, esports competitions in the PAX Arena, and concerts featuring video game-inspired music. PAX East will also provide an opportunity for the community to come together with tournaments, tabletop lounges, and freeplay sections featuring PC, console, and retro games.

While PAX East 2021 was canceled due to COVID, PAX East 2022 will operate but with strict COVID-19 requirements. Everyone who’s attending the event will be required to provide proof of vaccination, and masks are also required. For more information on safety and health concerns, please review the official PAX East health and safety guidelines.

Oh, how I’ve missed you PAX East. I’ll be in line, attempting to snag some badges for myself and the family, and can’t wait to get back to Boston, in 2022. If you plan on heading out to PAX East, don’t walk, run. These badges always sell out and with the return of the event, I have little doubt this will happen again.

The Outerhaven staff will be in attendance as well. You don’t think we’re going to miss out on the biggest gaming convention on the East Coast, do you?
