Xbox players who were disappointed that Dispatch skipped Microsoft’s console at launch can finally celebrate, as AdHoc Studio has announced that the episodic superhero workplace comedy will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, this July 29, 2026.
Dispatch originally launched for PlayStation 5 and PC on October 22, 2025, with its eight episodes released weekly through November 12, 2025. The game later arrived on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 28, 2026, leaving Xbox as the only major platform still waiting. By the time it releases on Xbox later this month, Xbox fans will have waited more than nine months to finally get their hands on the game.
Thankfully, that wait is nearly over, and Xbox players can now wishlist Dispatch ahead of its release.
Alongside the Xbox announcement, AdHoc Studio also released a new localization update across all platforms. The update adds support for LATAM Spanish, Turkish, Thai, Polish, and Ukrainian, allowing even more players to experience the game’s unique take on the superhero genre.
The studio also confirmed that Dispatch will have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con with a panel titled Dispatch: Off the Clock with the Z-Team. The panel will feature several members of the game’s voice cast, including Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Seán McLoughlin (Jacksepticeye), Alanah Pearce, THOT SQUAD, Yung Gravy, Joel Haver, Mayanna Berrin, Lance Cantstopolis, MoistCr1TiKaL, and Erin Yvette, who will discuss what it took to bring the game’s colorful cast of characters to life.
Dispatch comes from the writers and directors behind Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, blending narrative-driven storytelling with workplace comedy. Players take on the role of Robert Robertson, better known as Mecha Man, whose mech suit is destroyed during a battle with his longtime nemesis.
Unable to continue his superhero career, Robert finds himself working as a dispatcher for a team of reformed supervillains hoping to redeem themselves. Players will assign heroes to emergencies, manage relationships within the office, pursue romances, level up their roster, and slowly rebuild Mecha Man’s suit in preparation for one final shot at revenge.
