Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves brought out the new additions to the Season 3 roster. After the insane whirlwind of characters they brought in Season 2 – in the form of Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Jae Hoon, Wolfgang Krauser, and Kenshiro – SNK has doubled down with some favorites to keep things spicy. In the latest trailer, Rick Strowd and Laocorn were brought to the forefront, but not without some other noticible additions in the trailer. A storm is definitely coming, Terry.
Kim Kaphwan is back. From the look of things, lore wise, Kim should be resting after an attack from Freeman. However, here he is fit and ready to take on challenges. Not to be outdone by his own sons, Kaphwan has his Taekwon-Do game and rep to worry about.
Duck King is also returning from his Real Bout 2 appearance. The breakdancing fighter(literally) makes his comeback with his stage intact after all these years. Duck King did invite Salvatore Ganacci to take on the wolves for “inspiration”. Best for him to also stop on by.
Two other fighters are unknown at this point if SNK is going the route we expect. SNK waited for the last second of the EWC Championships run for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves to reveal this, but left out two possible wolves to keep us guessing. Within nearly a year, City of the Wolves has brought in a lion’s share of content and are looking to keep their promise. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing White, from Real Bout Special attempt to take on the territory war.
