Rooster Teeth Has Been Revived Via Original Creator

By Todd BlackFebruary 5, 2025
Rooster Teeth

In today’s digital landscape, even when you’re a top-tier influencer or creator, it can be a true struggle to find your fanbase, keep your fanbase, and then make money so you can keep doing your content creation. For many, one of the standouts for doing that was Rooster Teeth.

They started out via Machinima stuff with its breakout series Red vs. Blue, and then it grew to be an internet juggernaut of sorts, creating shows like Camp Camp, RWBY, and bringing in other series like Death Battle. Yet, there were troubles behind the scenes, and then, in 2024, the company shut down.

As we know, RWBY went to VIZ and Death Battle went independent. Yet, in a shocking reveal…Rooster Teeth is back online…

As has been confirmed by multiple sources, including a press release from Burns himself, Rooster Teeth’s original founder, Bernie Burns, has bought back the company and has put it under his other business, Box Company Productions.

To further highlight his return, the business’s YouTube channel shows Burnie returning to the old building that did all of Rooster Teeth’s main work in recent years.

While it’s unclear what Burns has in mind for the company, he does promise to go back to the channel’s roots and do what is right for the fans and the creators who help make the various series for them.

Many are looking forward to what this all means and what happens next.
