Nintendo Direct For Switch 2 Gets Update

Timing is everything.
By Todd BlackFebruary 5, 2025
Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Switch 2 Direct

We are now less than two months away from the arrival of the Nintendo Direct that will herald in the true arrival of the Switch 2. At the Direct, pretty much everyone is expecting a cavalcade of gaming announcements for both 1st and 3rd-party titles. Pretty much everyone agrees that The Big N will need to deliver a big home run to help cement the system’s hype, while beating back the naysayers who continue to mock what Nintendo “didn’t do” during the initial Switch 2 reveal a few weeks back.

On that front, Nintendo revealed on Twitter today that the Nintendo Direct wouldn’t just be on April 2nd, as previously announced, but it would be at 9EST/8CST/6PST. Thus, now we know when to set our alarms (Alarmos?) for that date and time so we can be “up and at ’em” for whatever comes our way.

Join us on April 2nd at 6am PT for #NintendoDirect: Nintendo Switch 2 – 4.2.2025, where we will share a closer look at #NintendoSwitch2.
