Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Hits 5 Million Sales Worldwide

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Hits 5 Million Sales Worldwide

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero was one of the most successful games of last year, and today Bandai Namco has revealed that the fighting game has reached an important milestone, with 5 million copies sold worldwide.

The announcement was made in a post on the official Dragon Ball game Twitter page, along with an image of Goku and Vegeta fighting and a thank-you message to the fans. According to Bandai Namco’s official statement, it is also the fastest-selling Dragon Ball game on consoles.

The tweet reads, “We’re thrilled to announce that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO has officially sold 5 million copies worldwide! A huge THANKS to our amazing fans for the epic journey. We truly appreciate your passion and dedication.”

The fighting game had reached 3 million copies sold within the first 24 hours of its release on October 11 of last year, meaning that in just over three and a half months, another 2 million copies were sold. Considering that Dragon Ball games are supported for a long time (such as FighterZ, Kakarot, and the ever-popular Xenoverse 2 from 2016), it is clear that this is just the beginning, and sales for Sparking! Zero are expected to continue rising over time.
