Is the PlayStation 5 Pro Going to be Revealed Tomorrow

By Keith MitchellSeptember 9, 2024
PlayStation - Possible PS5 Pro Announcement

PlayStation has announced that it will be holding a short 9-minute PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation on 9/10/2024 at 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT, and damn near the entire internet is assuming that this is going to be the official reveal of the PlayStation 5 Pro.

“THE JOURNEY CONTINUES”

If that doesn’t mean something, I don’t know what does.

Tune in tomorrow for a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny

The 9-minute stream begins September 10 at 8:00am PT / 4:00pm BST. Full details: https://t.co/VC31WS9VYd pic.twitter.com/qGUF0Yj9Ia

Given that the event is going to be very short, I assume it’s going to go something like this.

PlayStation event starts: Mark Cerny takes the stage and goes “I know we let you down with the PlayStation 5. It didn’t live up to what we had expected, so now, we’re giving you a nice shiny PlayStation 5 Pro. It costs $699.99, goes on sale today, and is much better than the PlayStation 5. Go pre-order it.”

I jest with this, but c’mon, there’s no way the PlayStation 5 Pro and maybe its price point aren’t going to be announced tomorrow. Should that be the case, I also hope that this also comes with a PlayStation 5 price reduction, since there are still countless PlayStation fans who are still rocking the PlayStation 4, as the PS5 is still a bit costly for them.

However, there’s no chance we’ll hear about that Bloodborne Remastered game that keeps making the rounds and refuses to die. It would be nice if it happened, but it won’t.

But the main question is, are you going to buy it?
