A few weeks ago I talked about the upcoming 2D side-scrolling brawler that allows up to 4 players in local or online co-op, Towerborne. While not much outside of the gameplay was known, during Gamescom Opening Night 2024, Xbox revealed a bit more information regarding the same. Xbox has revealed that the title will enter Early Access on Steam, starting on September 10, 2024, and then later for Xbox on an unannounced date in 2025.
While the title is a Steam-exclusive for now is a bit odd. However, Stotic (Banner Saga series), the developer of the game, spells it all out in a blog post on Xbox.com. It’s also worth mentioning that Towerborne will feature cross-platform play and cross-progression, which is great, and you can play and pick up across both platforms.
