Glorious Launches Limited Edition Bushido-Inspired Key Cap Series

By Josh PiedraJuly 2, 2024

Glorious, a company known for hot-swappable keyboards, has announced that they are launching their Bushido-inspired Keycap series named Kabuto today, July 2.

This will be a limited release as only 1,000 Kabuto keycaps will be available for purchase. This set is part of their monthly limited-edition program known as Keycapsules. On the first Tuesday of each month, a new set will be introduced in a limited capacity.

Limited-edition sets under the KeyCapsules banner will feature:

  • – Exclusivity: Each KeyCapsules design is available in a limited edition of 500 – 1000 sets, making each release a collectible.
  • – Craftsmanship: Utilizing PBT Polymer and dye-sub printing, the KeyCapsules series guarantees durability and precision in every key cap.
  • – Unique Designs: Each design is one of a kind, created by the Glorious in-house design team or in conjunction with artists, brand partners and influencers.
  • – Universal Compatibility: The KeyCapsules are designed to fit most standard keyboard switches and layouts, including PC and Mac keys.
  • – Monthly Excitement: New and exciting designs are slated for release on the first Tuesday of each month, with the first 24 hours reserved for those signed up for KeyCapsules drops.

“With the KeyCapsules launch, we’re not just releasing key caps — we’re inviting gamers to join us on a journey of discovery and personal expression. Each set is a canvas for individuality, designed to inspire and elevate the gaming experience,” said Pat Wachendorf, CEO, of Glorious.

Glorious’ GPBT Kabuto keycaps are perfect to prep ahead of a Assassin’s Creed Shadows playthrough or to fill the Toranaga-shaped hole left in your heart after Shōgun’s finale. Design features include:

  • Keycap set for both ANSI and ISO English with Japanese Hiragana text to write your next Haiku
  • A dual Chokutō enter key to slash into the next paragraph
  • 142-large army of high-quality PBT polymer keycaps with red accents
  • Dye-sublimation printing keeping your keys sharper than a katana
