B. Jenet Sets Sail For Fatal Fury City of the Wolves

By Kevin KellyJune 9, 2024

B. Jenet will be storming into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. As the roster is getting revealed one character at a time, SNK decided to give fans two character trailers for Summer Games Fest last Friday. The captain of the Lillien Knights pirate faction has re-anchored into Southtown’s shores in this trailer. Since her debut back in Mark of the Wolves, B. Jenet has made several King of Fighters appearances over the years. Most recently, King of Fighters XV with Rock Howard and Gato from the Mark of the Wolves game.

Looks like B. Jenet’s keeping her shoe on this round compared to her usual Super Desparation Move does. Her Hind, Aurora, and Crazy Ivan moves are still intact. That counter move has way too much twerk potential. The winds seem to be in her favor as even her projectile Bassfrass is back, too. B. Jenet still has some tricks up her sleeve or…dress. Especially with her answer to ground based fireballs.

Looks like the Knights have not learned from their previous crash in the first game. Mistakes were repeated for this stage with B. Jenet’s crew’s mode of transport. As for the rest of her kit, we’ll probably see more of her in action soon in real rounds. Vox Reaper – the assassin of Southtown – was also released on Friday. Voic Actor Amber Lee Connors of Jujutsu Kaizen and Unicorn Overlord will be the voice of the pirate queen.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches early 2025 on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and Epic Game Store.
