Remedy Entertainment is bringing CONTROL Resonant to San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where several members of the game’s cast will discuss their characters and experiences working on the upcoming sequel. With Dylan and Jesse Faden both represented, the panel should be an interesting one for fans who want to learn more about Remedy’s latest adventure.
The CONTROL Resonant panel will take place on Saturday, July 25, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM PT inside Room 6BCF at the San Diego Convention Center. Anyone attending Comic-Con can add the panel to their official schedule.
The announced guests include Sean Durrie, who plays Dylan Faden, Courtney Hope as Jesse Faden, Frankie Kevich as Zoe de Vera, and Matthew Porretta as Dr. Casper Darling. Remedy has not revealed exactly what will be discussed, but the panel will focus on the actors’ characters and their work on the game.
Durrie previously joined CONTROL Resonant creative director Mikael Kasurinen during the Tribeca Festival, where they discussed Dylan’s expanded role in the sequel. During that conversation, Kasurinen explained that Dylan will not have the same internal narration that Jesse had through Polaris, and will instead express himself through conversations with characters such as Zoe. Durrie also revealed that he and Kevich recorded most of their scenes together on the same sound stage, which makes their inclusion in the Comic-Con panel even more interesting. You can read our full coverage of the Tribeca Festival panel here.
We have also had multiple opportunities to play CONTROL Resonant ahead of its release. During our Summer Game Fest 2026 hands-on preview, we experienced the beginning of Dylan’s journey, tested his melee-focused combat, met Zoe, and battled the Resonant Entity. While the change from Jesse’s ranged combat initially raised some concerns, Dylan’s ability to chain attacks, launch enemies into the air, and combine his movement abilities with his shape-shifting weapon made his playstyle feel like more than a simple character swap.
Our more extensive three-hour hands-on preview of CONTROL Resonant also left us impressed with the game’s traversal, vertical level design, combat variety, and Remedy’s familiar brand of weird storytelling. The preview showed that Dylan’s weapons and abilities can significantly change how players approach combat, while the larger explorable areas appear designed to offer more freedom than the Oldest House did in the original game.
With Durrie, Hope, Kevich, and Porretta appearing together, the Comic-Con panel could provide more insight into Dylan and Zoe’s relationship, Jesse’s role in the story, and Dr. Darling’s involvement in the sequel. Of course, Remedy may keep the larger story details under wraps, especially with the game’s release only a few months away.
CONTROL Resonant launches on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The cast panel will take place at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, 2026.
