Super Mario Bros Wonder Direct Coming Thursday

When Super Mario Bros Wonder was announced back in June, fans were both amazed and perplexed at the reveal trailer. The game looked like nothing they had ever seen before in the 2D setting with Mario, and that made them curious about what would happen next. Since then, Nintendo has only released small details about the game, including the mysterious “Wonder Flowers” that set off a variety of things within the levels. However, we won’t have to wait too long for details.

Nintendo revealed on Twitter that Super Mario Bros Wonder will get a special Nintendo Direct this upcoming Thursday to break down more of the title. It’s curious that they’re doing it with this game instead of having a new trailer in the potential full-on Direct next month. But then again, Nintendo has done these kinds of “focused directs” before to get players info about a title without taking time away from other games.

Join us for an in-depth look at Mario's latest 2D side-scrolling adventure in the livestreamed Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct!
