Everybody 1-2 Switch Announced By Nintendo

By Todd BlackJune 2, 2023
Everybody 1-2 Switch

If you recall the Nintendo Switch lineup from 2017, it wasn’t just filled with top-tier titles like Breath of the Wild. It also had games that were meant to showcase the Switch’s new controllers in the Joy-Cons. Remember, they have special sensors that can make for unique gameplay if you build around that. One title that did this was 1-2 Switch, which was essentially a tech demo filled with unique minigames.

The title did well enough, and many wondered if a sequel would ever happen. Well, there was one in the works, but the reports on it weren’t positive. So imagine our shock yesterday while we were filming the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast when Everybody 1-2 Switch was revealed to be coming this month.

Yep, Nintendo is shadow-dropping another title! Here’s the synopsis they have on the official store page for the game:

“Mix up your next get-together with the Everybody 1-2-Switch!™ game. Grab some Joy-Con™ controllers* or smart devices** for team-based games that are easy to set up and feature everything from balloons to aliens, and more! People at your next party can get moving and show off their teamwork in this multiplayer mashup.”

Whether this game turns out to be good or not will be determined very soon.

#Everybody12Switch is coming to #NintendoSwitch on 6/30.
