The Callisto Protocol Launch Trailer Looks Damned Epic

The launch trailer for The Callisto Protocol, Striking Distance Studios‘ upcoming sci-fi survival horror game, has been released.

Before you give this trailer a watch, it does contain spoilers.

With The Callisto Protocol being released in less than three weeks, this launch trailer connects all the dots. All the hints, clues, and parts of the story that had has been shown thus far. Lots more combat, some of the weapons that the protagonist, Jacob, will be using, and how to craft them. NPCs that will join you on your quest, locations that we haven’t seen yet, and lots more story elements. It’s all in here.

Oh, and so are those nasty-looking, bloodthirsty creatures that want to see Jacob dead as he tries to flee the Black Iron prison on Jupiter’s moon of Callisto.

When The Callisto Protocol launches, it will include a performance mode for the consoles, allowing the game to be played at 1080p@60fps. While I’m looking to see how that performs, I’m really looking forward to seeing just how far I can push the game on my PC. It should be epic.

As a fan of Dead Space, I’ve been looking forward to this game since I heard the name uttered. Just three more weeks! I better make sure I put my vacation time in.

The Callisto Protocol releases for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, on December 2nd, 2022.
