Zelda-Filled Nintendo Direct Coming Next Month?

To say that there’s been a drought of true Nintendo Direct arrivals would be an understatement. Because we had the Partner’s Showcase a while back, and the focused Directs on games like Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but not a true full-on Direct that reveals to us what we can expect both this year and next since February!

However, according to insider Jeff Grubb during a podcast, not only are we going to get one, it’ll be filled with Legend of Zelda titles…

“Yeah, I think there’s going to be a lot of Zelda stuff at this thing,” Grubb said. “I think this is like a Zelda blowout for Nintendo.”

He also mentioned the long-rumored Metroid Prime remaster, but let’s not hold our breath on that. More importantly, can we FINALLY get more details on Breath of the Wild 2? Either way, he is confident in the Direct coming next month:

“100% there’s a Nintendo Direct in September, it’s that simple. There is still some uncertainty about whether this will be a general [Direct], maybe a Mini, there was some talk of it being a Partner Direct”.

Either way, September is tomorrow, so perhaps we won’t have to wait that long for an announcement…
