After days of teasing, Death Stranding heading to the PC via PC Game Pass has officially been confirmed. Yep, it’s happening, and everyone who subscribes to the service will be able to play it the first time, or again, on August 23rd, 2022.
Man, this game has had quite the journey. First, it was a PlayStation 4 exclusive, then finally released on the PC (though it was always planned that way), and now, years after its original release, it will arrive on PC Game Pass. Keep in mind that this is only for the PC. The game is a PlayStation console exclusive, so you won’t be able to play it on Xbox.
Similar to the Steam version of the game, Death Stranding on PC Game Pass will also come with several upgrades. Such as ultrawide screen support, higher frame rates, and a photo mode.
Sadly, this is the original version of Death Stranding, not the Director’s Cut; no extra content is included. However, the Steam version does. But it’s not as cheap as it will be on PC Game Pass.
I’ve already played Death Stranding on the PC when it was released on Steam, so I don’t think I’ll be giving it another go. But for everyone else who didn’t, you’re in for a fantastic adventure. And no, it’s not just a walking simulator; it’s so much more than that.
