Aliens Fireteam Elite Pathogen Expansion Gameplay Trailer

By Keith MitchellAugust 26, 2022
Aliens Fireteam Elite Pathogen Expansion

In just a few days, the Aliens: Fireteam Elite expansion, Pathogen, will be released on August 30th, 2022. It’s been a while since we heard about this expansion, and being a fan of the original game, I’m looking forward to this.

The Pathogen expansion will bring with it three new missions with plenty of xenomorphs. A new hardcore mode for those who thought the original game was too easy, new weapons, cosmetics and rewards, and of course, the new Pathogen Queen Boss Fight.

Cold Iron Studios is claiming that this fight is going to be hard, and we’ll need plenty of weapons, cunning, and strategy to take this queen down. You know I’m a big Dark Souls fan, right? So I’m already looking forward to this battle.

The Aliens Fireteam Elite Pathogen expansion will be available to download on Xbox Series One, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, priced at $14.99, and the Ultimate Edition Upgrade for existing owners of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which includes the Pathogen expansion and five Endeavor Pass DLCs for $29.99.  For those who don’t already own the main game, you can snag the Ultimate Edition, which includes the previously mentioned additions, plus the main game for $59.99

The Outerhaven rated Aliens Fireteam Elite with a 4.5/5 score, so that tells you this game is amazing. The only thing we didn’t like was the game length was too short. That and the lack of cross-play, which isn’t an issue anymore, as Cold Iron Studios released an update that added cross-play with Patch 1.0.499606 in July 2022.
