Square Enix Launches English Version of Manga Up

By Josh PiedraJuly 29, 2022

Square Enix’s Manga Up! has received an English version. Manga Up! allows users to read manga via the web or mobile app.

Manga Up! includes licenses from Square Enix Manga & Books division along with other North American titles that had previously run in Square Enix magazines in Japan.

Some of the titles you can read on the app are as follows:

  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • The Case Study of Vanitas
  • Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
  • Goblin Slayer
  • Monthy Girls’ Nozaki-kun
  • Sekirei
  • The Royal Tutor
  • The Apothecary Diaries
  • Horimiya
  • My Clueless First Friend
  • Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
  • …and more

In Japan, users bought manga using a custom currency earned in app by performing certain actions or flat-out purchasing it with real money. Users then can redeem the in-app currency for manga chapters. Manga Up! is available in iOS and Android devices.

You can check out the official English website here: https://global.manga-up.com/
