Sonic Frontiers was announced a while ago, but it’s set to arrive this year and Sonic seems to FINALLY be interested in showing us some gameplay. They dropped a tweet today that showed about a 30-second gameplay clip and teased that there was “more to come”.
As you can see, there are references to classic Sonic gameplay like grinding on rails, getting rings and doing special attacks, but also a focus on the open-world style of gameplay. Not everything is clear as of yet, but apparently, more Sonic Frontiers teases are coming. So we’ll just have to stay tuned to what they show off next.
