Only a few hours ago (literally), we posted an article about how in Japan, Pokemon Legends Arceus sales were through the roof of the region. And alongside some info about the UK sales, it seemed that the game was off to a great start. But apparently, we didn’t really know the whole scale of things, so Nintendo decided to help us out on that front.
Because only about 90 minutes after we made our article, they made the tweet below revealing that Pokemon Legends Arceus sales aren’t just great, they’re legendary.

Yes, 6.5 million units sold in just under the first week of release (it came out last Friday if you recall). And that is not just insane, that’s beyond what anyone could have expected for this Pokemon title that many were cautious and even worried about given the divergence from the mainline titles. So for it to do this well? That’s mind-blowing.
