Chrono Cross Returns in Complex Dream, Another Eden Crossover

By Josh PiedraDecember 10, 2021
Chrono Cross
Complex Dream, a crossover event between Wright Flyer Studio’s Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and Square Enix’s classic Chrono Cross, is available now in Another Eden on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam for PC.

The crossover is described as follows:

In a parallel timeline where Aldo, the hero of Another Eden, fails to defeat the Beast King, beloved characters from Chrono Cross—including Serge, Kid, and Harle—join the playable cast as new party members, voiced for the first time in Chrono series history. Written by Masato Kato, the visionary storyteller behind both Chrono Cross and Another Eden, Complex Dream brings updated versions of these fan-favorite characters into a new storyline, featuring music from legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears).

Another Eden’s single-player, story-driven JRPG gameplay receives new mechanics paying homage to Chrono Cross, like New Game+ with branching storylines, combo attacks, field effects, and more. Reunite with long-lost heroes and challenge fate once again in Complex Dream, overseen by core team members Kato-san, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Nobutero Yuuki.

You can check out a pair of trailers for the event below!
