Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Issues Discussed By Nintendo Head

By Todd BlackNovember 15, 2021
Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack

Nintendo has always had a very…unique…history with online capabilities in regards to their systems. They started it truly with the Wii/DS era with various amounts of success, and fast-forward to the Switch era and things are a little better…and a lot worse in some ways. The biggest one though is with the launch of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, and how the content wasn’t good when players actually tried out the titles.

In an interview with The Verge, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser responded to fan complaints when it comes to Switch Online N64 issues:

“We’re constantly looking for ways to make our online features and those games better and continuing to add value through more services and more games as we go forward. We take the feedback very seriously, and we’re continuing to look at ways to improve the overall performance. For us, it’s about quality and great content at a great value.”

Hopefully they can fix it sooner rather than later, as fans were not happy with how these very old games played on the newest Nintendo system. And if they want future sales, they need to make sure the games actually play well.
