Mortal Kombat Team Makes “Ultra Instinct Shaggy” Canon

There are some in the world of fandom that truly cannot be explained. And one of them is the myth that is “Ultra Instinct Shaggy”. Allow us to explain. You see, when Mortal Kombat 11 was going and bringing in a LOT of 3rd party characters, Scooby-Doo fans jumped in and noted that Shaggy from the show could totally be in the game. Why? Because in one movie, Shaggy gets “treated” for his fear, and he basically becomes a master of “Ultra Instinct”. A reference to Dragon Ball Super.

As the meme of this started to circulate, fans went and made a petition asking NetherRealm Studios to go and make this a reality. It literally got to the point where the team during a livestream acknowleged the character, but refused to put him in the game. 

That being said…the title card opening for the upcoming Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms has released and…

Yep, it’s real, believe it. They can’t call it “Ultra Instinct Shaggy”, but come on, this is cool! The fans win again.
