Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Celebrates Anniversary With New Art

The Nintendo Switch has proved a LOT of things during its time on the market. But one thing that no one really expected was for the somewhat “odd titles” to find a perfect home here. Such as the plethora of indie games that now inhabit the system, or the rather unique titles that have arrived like Astral Chain, Mario Golf Super Rush, and of course, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

This game went from a “leak” thought fake, to a game that was anything but, and one that shocked everyone with just how good it was. Its mix of insane story, tight gameplay, and mish-mashed world led to it becoming the best-selling 3rd party title on the system. And today…was its 4th anniversary! So the game’s Twitter decided to celebrate in style.

4 years ago, Mario and his team joined forces with the mischievous Rabbids… willingly. 😉 It's been such a fun journey, and we're excited to continue it with you all! 💖 #MarioRabbids pic.twitter.com/H72glFpw5E

A worthy anniversary indeed. But as the Tweet noted, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is only the beginning. The future is coming next year via Mario + Rabbids Spark of Hope! A game revealed at E3 2021 and hopefully we’ll get even more details on it soon enough!

But if you haven’t played the original, go and get it! And check out our review as to why!
