Baiken officially announced as the next DLC character for Samurai Shodown

By Keith MitchellAugust 16, 2021
Samurai Shodown Baiken Joins The Roster

See, we were totally right. Baiken is the next DLC character for Samurai Shodown.

Last night, SNK had announced a cross-over DLC character that would make their way from Guilty Gear to Samurai Shodown. Of course, we all knew it was going to be Baiken, for obvious reasons. For starters, she fights with some mean swordplay in the Guilty Gear series, so she’d be the perfect character to make the jump. That and it was teased previously that SNK was looking to bring her over to the Samsho. Today, SNK officially announced that it would be Baiken who’ll join the Samurai Shodown roster. For those of you who are still playing Samurai Shodown, you’ll be able to get your hands on Baiken on August 19th, 2021.

Interestingly enough, while we received the official announcement trailer, there hasn’t been any word on if Baiken will be either a paid or free DLC character. We’re trying to track down that info and will let you know once we find out.

Samurai Shodown is available on all major consoles and PC.
