WarioWare Returns to Consoles with WarioWare: Get It Together

By Tyler KelbaughJune 15, 2021

Traditional WarioWare, if there even is such a thing, will return to home consoles after a 15 year hiatus when WarioWare: Get It Together launches for Nintendo Switch on Sept. 10. Check out the trailer here!

In WarioWare, players are given mere seconds to clear zany “microgames,” from dodging bird poop to shooting apples off a tree. In previous entries, Wario’s cast of colorful friends played host to different sets of microgames, but Get It Together thrusts them straight into the action. Players can control favorites like Mona, Ashley, and Orbulon, each of whom has unique abilities that impact how a player approaches each game.

Get It Together also features a multiplayer mode where players can work together to clear games. In one moment, you and a friend will be trying to keep a giant tower of ice cream upright, and in the next you’ll be shooting a baby’s crib to rock it back and forth.

Tyler Kelbaugh is a Nintendo writer for The Outerhaven Productions. He fell in love with gaming at the ripe young age of 4, a passion born from years of consistently failing to survive Marble Zone. If you mention the words "Fire Emblem" around him he'll talk your ear off. He's also a pretty competent Smash Bros. player, and a passionate sports fan.
