HyperX Launches Two New Mechanical Gaming Keyboards in Australia

By Karl SmartMay 28, 2021

If there is one thing that I highly like, it’s HyperX keyboards. So when HyperX announces two new keyboards to be released in Australia, it’s something that needs to be heralded from the heavens. You can read the full press release from HyperX below:

HyperX Launches Two New Mechanical Gaming Keyboards in Australia

HyperX Origins 60 is the brand’s first 60 percent mechanical gaming keyboard and includes HyperX Red Switches

HyperX Alloy Origins Core Tenkeyless RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard now has HyperX Blue Switch variant

HyperX, a leading gaming peripheral brand, today announced that the HyperX Alloy OriginsTM 60 mechanical gaming keyboard is now available in Australia. A compact, 60 percent form factor keyboard, Alloy Origins 60 features HyperX Red linear mechanical switches that are built for performance, longevity and rated with an 80 million lifetime click rating per switch.

Alloy Origins 60 is the first HyperX 60 percent gaming keyboard built with HyperX Red linear mechanical switches. HyperX Red switches are designed with a shorter actuation point and shorter travel time than other switches on the market, for more responsive switch action.

As a durable, stable gaming keyboard, Alloy Origins 60 features a full aircraft-grade aluminum body and offers a space-saving 60 percent layout that maximizes desktop real estate for ultimate mouse movement. The keyboard includes RGB exposed backlit keys for brighter illumination with radiant lighting effects and double shot PBT keycaps with secondary functions for long-term use and durability. The Alloy Origins 60 also comes with additional accessory keycaps, including an HX ESC keycap and exclusive HyperX-designed spacebar, along with a keycap puller for added customization.

“HyperX is committed to making reliable keyboards with features and design specifications required by gamers,” said HyperX. “Our new Alloy Origins 60 mechanical gaming keyboard will meet the needs of gamers looking for an even more compact, 60 percent form factor keyboard for their gaming and work from home setups.”

HyperX also announced it is now shipping the HyperX Alloy Origins Core Tenkeyless RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with HyperX Blue mechanical switches in Australia. The HyperX Blue switches are favored by gamers who like clicky key sounds and operating action when playing or typing.

“HyperX is excited to add HyperX Blue mechanical switches to the Alloy Origins Core lineup,” said HyperX. “Alloy Origins Core was designed specifically for TKL keyboard fans. Adding the new HyperX Blue switches alongside the existing red switch version allows gamers to choose their preferred switch type while receiving the top performance, reliability, and style inherent in keyboards with HyperX-branded switches.”

Alloy Origins 60 and Alloy Origins Core include RGB backlit keys with exposed LED for brighter illumination with radiant lighting effects and five adjustable brightness levels to enhance gaming, day or night. Supported by HyperX NGENUITY software, Alloy Origins 60 and Alloy Origins Core offer advanced customization features for lighting and macros, including customizable per-key lighting effects.

Both keyboards feature Custom Game Mode, allowing users to choose which keys are enabled and disabled. Macro keys can be assigned and stored in the macro library, and users can choose from three adjustable keyboard angles for perfect positioning. With onboard memory, users can save up to three profiles for on-the-go gaming using HyperX NGENUITY software. Other features include 100 percent anti-ghosting, full N-key rollover, and a detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A keyboard cable.

The Alloy Origins 60 is available for an MSRP of AUD$179 in Australia from selected retailers. For more information, please visit the Alloy Origins 60 product page.

The Alloy Origins Core Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is available for an MSRP of AUD$195 in Australia from selected retailers. For more information, please visit the Alloy Origins Core product page
