Yakuza 6: The Song of Life PC Requirements Revealed

By Keith MitchellMarch 22, 2021
Yakuza 6 - Oh Yeah

With Xbox and Sega announcing that one of the best Yakuza titles to be released, Yakuza 6, would be heading to the PC, we were excited. This game has long being a PlayStation exclusive, and with the release of pretty much all of the other Yakuza games to the platform, we figured it was just a matter of time. Now, the game is slated to arrive on the PC later this week, so we figured we’d help you make sure that your PC is up to the task of running the game.

The requirements to run the game are pretty tame, and a PC built in the last 10 years should be able to the game with little to no issue. If you’ve played Yakuza Kiwami 2 or Yakuza Like a Dragon (you did play those, right?) just fine, then Yakuza 6 will be more of the same. And thankfully, Sega has learned a thing or two when it comes to porting titles to the PC. While

Minimum requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher
  • Architecture: x64
  • Memory: 4GB
  • VRAM: 2GB
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3470, AMD FX-6300
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660, 2 GB, AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2 GB
  • Storage: 40GB (HDD/SSD)

Recommended specs

  • OS: Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher
  • Architecture: x64
  • Memory: 6GB
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700, AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX Vega 56, 8 GB
  • Storage: 40GB (HDD/SSD)

With the release of Yakuza 6 onto the PC, that pretty much every Yakuza title in the Kazuma Kiryu storyline will be available to play. Meaning that if you’ve always wanted to mainline all of the games, but with the PC, this is now a reality. That said, we do recommend starting with Yakuza Zero and playing all the way through the games. Of course, that’s just a recommendation, and while you don’t have to do so, it is the best way to get familiar with all the characters and history.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life releases on PC via Xbox Game Pass for PC, Windows Store, and Steam on March 25th, 2021.
