Epic Games to host a Spring Store Showcase this week

Out of nowhere, Epic Games has announced that the company will host a live stream this week, showcasing various titles and announcements surrounding the Epic Games Store. This event will occur on February 11th, 2021, at 11 AM PT/ 2 PM ET and will be hosted on the Epic Games Twitch channel.

The #EGSSpringShowcase is coming (very) soon to a Twitch stream near you! 📹

Tune in this Thursday, February 11 at 2 PM Eastern for a curated collection of exciting new announcements, gameplay, developer insights and more.

While we don’t know what will be announced, EGS has already stated that we can expect to see several games heavily discounted. Star Wars: Squadrons will see a 40% discount, Snow Runner up to 40%, Assassin’s Creed Vahalla up to 20%, Hades 20%, and Cyberpunk 2077 will see a 10% discount. Expect to see other titles being discounted during the livestream.

Seeing how we’re going to get several announcements, we can safely assume this will mean we’ll find out about more Epic Game Store exclusives as well. But we could also hear about some brand new games that we didn’t even know about previously. Of course, this also means we’re going to have more than a few PC gamers who aren’t a fan of exclusives, and I can’t blame them for that.

Either way, be sure to tune into the live stream this week if you’re even remotely interested.
