It was announced via its official website that the anime adaptation of Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover series will be coming to an end; however, it may not actually be THE end of the series. There is an important announcement at the end of its final 170th episode which is slated to air on March 30.
Also on March 30 at 6 PM, there will be a special stream on Avex Pictures’ YouTube channel involving the cast of Black Clover.
This week’s episode (162) is currently adapting the 24th volume of the manga, which was the latest volume to be released in North America by VIZ Media. This could be a good indication that the anime is catching up to the source material and has made the decision to temporarily cancel the show versus opting to go into a filler arc.
