When and where to watch the Resident Evil Village Showcase Tomorrow

New gameplay, a new trailer, and more are coming tomorrow.

Tomorrow, January 21st, 2021, Capcom will host its Resident Evil Village showcase, where the company will show off the game for the first time this year. It’s here that Capcom will reveal the first glimpse of gameplay, alongside a new trailer for the title. It’s also where thirsty Resident Evil fans will finally get to see the infamous tall lady vampire in action – or at least they hope so.

The live stream will take place at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET and hosted on Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, hosted by Brittney Brombacher of the What’s Good Games podcast.

In addition to Resident Evil Village, Capcom will be releasing new information on another Resident Evil title. Over the past week, the company has been relating short videos of previous Resident Evil games inventory systems, with the most recent being from Resident Evil 4. We still don’t know what that means, but we’re hoping it has to do with more remakes of their previous titles.

While there’s currently no release date for Resident Evil Village, the title is expected to be released sometime between Q3 and Q3 2021. The title was officially announced for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while PS4 and Xbox One versions were previously dropped due to optimization concerns. However, Capcom has since mentioned that the company would attempt to get the game running on the previous generation of consoles at an acceptable performance level.  Chances are we’ll hear more on that in tomorrow’s showcase, but all know we don’t need another Cyberpunk 2077 on our hands.

Resident Evil Village is a direct follow-up to Resident Evil 7 and will include werewolves, witches, and vampires for the time ever in the series. It will feature the return of Ethan Winters, his wife, Mia Winters, and a long-time mainstay of the Resident Evil series, Chris Redfield. The latter has been painted to be the bad guy, or at least that’s what it seems like, thanks to the previous Resident Evil Village trailers. Tomorrow, maybe we’ll find out what exactly is going on.

Yeah, expect to see plenty of this tall lady, count on it.
