Visionary Realms Announces New Funding for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

By Josh PiedraJanuary 19, 2021

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen and MMORPG fans woke up to some wonderful news this morning as Visionary Realms announced that they have secured additional funding for Pantheon! The investment was stated to be in the seven figures and will help push the game forward towards a full Alpha release which has over 8,000 players already signed up and ready to play and test!

Visionary Realms has already begun adding new members to the team. They added David “Nephele” Beach to assist them with their crafting system and, just a few days ago, they announced the additions of Mark “Fusoya” Maraglino and Jeanna “BlueEyedGator” Ruschell to their team who will be helping with Quality Assurance and Human Resouces, respectively. Mark previously worked on the Monk class design at Sigil Games on Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

Along with the investment, Christopher R. Kronenthal will be joining Visionary Realms as part of the company’s board.

“We are very fortunate to have Chris Kronenthal join us, having his support in closing the financing round,” says Christopher Rowan, Chairman and CEO. “The partnership just makes sense. He has incredible insight and a rare acumen that aligns with all of our goals with Pantheon, and Visionary Realms as a company.” Kronenthal added, “It is clear that the team at Visionary Realms is deeply committed and competent in all things related to game design and ecosystem, technology and architecture. Their expression of this in the world of Pantheon is extremely evident, and I am confident that gamers of all types will enjoy this epic adventure!”

Even though Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has received this new funding, they are still a crowdfunded game. You can find out more information about the game, it’s systems, tenants, classes, races, gameplay, and how to pledge on their official website: http://www.pantheonmmo.com

As Chris “Joppa” Perkins would say… “Onward and upward!”
