Destiny 2 Beyond Light Gets It’s Final Trailer

It’s nearly time to master the Darkness

Fans of Destiny 2 waiting for Beyond Light to release on November 10th have been eating up information that Bungie has been giving out. At this point the fans know all they need to know about Beyond Light but that doesn’t mean that fans aren’t immune to a little more hype before the DLC comes out. That hype comes in the form of the Destiny 2: Beyond Light Launch Trailer:

While the trailer does show anything new other than a few cut-scene snippets we haven’t seen yet and an eerie cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black” as the background music, it does give the viewer more insight on how the Vanguard are reacting to the arrival of the Triangle ships (Space Doritos, as the community have come to call them.) The trailer also gives us a closer look at the antagonist of the expansion, Eramis, Kell of the House of Devils.

Those familiar with the Destiny lore will know that the Fallen were once like the Guardians, servants of the light, they were “abandoned” by the Traveller when the Darkness reached their system and since then they have been chasing the Traveller to try and reclaim the power they once had. Eramis has thrown down the chains of light that has bound most of her people and has instead turned to the darkness to make her people great again, it’ll be interesting to see how the arc is played out and hopefully Bungie will give it the attention and care that the fans are hoping for.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light releases on November 10th worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia, you’ll also be able to play the enhanced version of Destiny 2 for next gen consoles on December 8th later this year. Owners of Gamepass for PC and Xbox will also be able to pick up Beyond Light at no extra cost.

The resident Brit of Outerhaven, however, don't expect refinement from me as I swear like a sailor and I will die on the hill I chose to fight on.
