Rooster Teeth Store Launches Artist Collabs For Fall

By Josh PiedraSeptember 8, 2020
Rooster Teeth

Today Rooster Teeth announced “Coop Comics,” a limited-edition merchandise collection that pairs six artists from across pop culture, skate and art with popular Rooster Teeth shows and DC’s iconic Super Hero, Wonder Woman. “Coop Comics” will launch during RTX at Home, Rooster Teeth’s virtual RTX event streaming live on RoosterTeeth.com and Rooster Teeth apps September 15-25. The collections and release dates for “Coop Comics” are:

Wonder Woman x Robin Eisenberg
Robin Eisenberg was tapped by Rooster Teeth to interpret DC’s iconic Wonder Woman Super Hero through the lens of her vivid, extraterrestrial illustrations. The result is a clothing capsule depicting one of Eisenberg’s signature alien characters as an everyday hero inspired by the character. The vibrant collection includes t-shirts, a hoodie, joggers and a black denim jacket. One of Robin’s illustrations from this collection also appears as a new variant cover for DC’s Wonder Woman 1984 comic book.

“I always hope to create art that people might be able to see themselves in,” said Eisenberg. “I love combining aliens and otherworldly environments with familiar, relatable moments, and I created these pieces with that same idea in mind – and with the idea that strength and beauty can come in many forms.”

Eisenberg is an artist and animator based in Los Angeles. She’s created art for brands including Vans, Adobe, Netflix, Apple, Adult Swim, Thrasher, HBO, Doc Johnson, and VEVO. She spends most of her life drawing, but when she’s away from her desk, she’s busy exploring LA, playing Zelda, looking at the moon, watching Star Trek, playing piano, reading fantasy novels, trying to grow plants, and petting dogs. See her work at robineisenberg.com and on IG @robineisenberg.

ACHIEVE x Sam Davidson
Out to blow minds and take names is the striking new ACHIEVE x Sam Davidson clothing collection. Davidson’s grim artistic style, best known in the world of skateboard graphic design, is a perfect fit with the ACHIEVE brand heritage, and the outcome is a collection of apparel as tough as it is bold. This streetwear-inspired collection includes t-shirts, a hoodie and joggers, an enamel pin, snapback hat and more.

“I had a blast designing this capsule for Achievement Hunter,” says Davidson. “It’s been a pleasure getting to make some cool, gritty artwork for y’all, and i’m stoked to see this stuff out in the streets!!”

Sam Davidson is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Oakland, California. Currently working full time with San Francisco’s Deluxe Distribution, Davidson is Art Director for Antihero Skateboards. You can find his work on Instagram @deltamojo, and on the web at flyingratskateboards.com.
