Kunimitsu makes her return in Tekken 7’s Season Pass 4

By Keith MitchellSeptember 28, 2020

After being absent in the last few Tekken titles, Kunimitsu is making her return in Tekken 7 a part of the season 4 pass. Well, sort of anyway. This character isn’t the one we remember and instead it is the daughter of the original Kunimitsu. As for the original character, Bandai Namco isn’t talking about her fate.

Bandai Namco has originally teased this character months ago, and many of us assumed it was going to be Kunimitsu, but she looked different. Now we know why. And unlike her mother, Kunimitsu isn’t sporting the same red hair but she is still rocking a signature fox mask. She also continues to use up-close weapons, as well.

Just like mother like daughter, this new character has claimed Yoshi’s sword, as seen in the season 4 launch trailer. The trend continues and poor Yoshi can’t keep his sword to save his life, can he?

The last time Kunimitsu was playable was in the free to play Tekken title, Tekken Revolution.  A new stage, Vermillion Gates, will be made available alongside the release of Kunimitsu. It just happens to be the very same stage that was used in the teaser a few months back.

Tekken 7 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, while Season Pass 4 will be available this Fall 2020.
