Master Roshi joins the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster this September 2020

Master Roshi Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster September 2020

We’ve begged and pleaded with Bandai Namco to get Master Roshi’s old ass into Dragon Ball FighterZ and it’s finally happening! Believe it!

Announced today by Bandai Namco, the Turtle Hermit himself, Master Roshi, will finally make is way to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster in September as the 3rd character for the third Season Pass.

After checking out the announcement trailer ( a very weak trailer), I have to say they nailed the character, yet again. He even comes packing his Evil Containment Wave, which we all saw in action again during the final arc of Dragon Ball Super.

Now, I can already hear it… Why him of all characters and that, well that hurts. Roshi isn’t just some old guy in the Dragon Ball universe. He’s the former teacher of both Goki and Krillin, but before that was considered the strongest fighter in the world. And despite his age, he’s still one of the most powerful humans in the world, even up to the Dragon Ball Super series. Show this man some R.E.S.P.E.C.T!

This is going to be interesting to see how players react to his addition to the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
