Joker and Hero Amiibos from Smash Bros. Ultimate Revealed

By William "Shadowz" KokJune 22, 2020

Along side the reveal of Min Min for Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai also unveiled new amiibos. Now confirmed is that the DLC fighters for the game is being made into amiibos. In order of their appearance, Joker of Persona 5 and Hero from Dragon Quest are now in production.

Both amiibos are stated to be released sometime this Fall 2020. Granted that depends on the current world situation of Corona Virus and hope that it doesn’t affect production too much.

In the presentation, Sakurai showed off the prototype sample that was delivered to him. He praised the quality and how it is full of details. I’m impressed on how they incorporate the flames of Jokers Persona summoning.  The Hero from Dragon Quest also has great detail shown covering his boots and his shield. Comparing it to the first amiibos that were release, it is great to see how much it has improved since then. I’m looking at you original Smash Link amiibo.

All I can say to that Joker Amiibo is this: Give it to me now!
