VR title Tales of Glory Release Date Announced

Mount and Blade meets VR

Tales of Glory is a VR brawler that focuses on Medieval combat on a massive scale. First entering early access back in 2017 Tales of Glory has been receiving a steady supply of updates adding new content and tweaking issues to fine-tune the experience, Tales of Glory now has a final release date of May 30th 2020.

Check out the teaser released by developers, BlackTale Games, below:

To those who aren’t familiar with Tales of Glory, the gameplay is similar to the large scale battles you can find in Mount and Blade but now you’re right in the middle of it, flailing your arms around like a maniac. You’ll have access to several Medival style weapons and equipment to take on the opposing army but your most important asset is your own army, no matter how skilled you might be, if you don’t go in with backup you’ll find yourself becoming overwhelmed and dying on an altar of your own hubris. Make sure to take full advantage of the army command system to direct your troops to where you need them to dominate on the battlefield.

In addition to the massive fights, there is also a Mount and Blade style campaign which can take you up to 50 hours to complete which, as far as VR games go, is a long time indeed.

If you can’t wait for Tales of Glory you can pick up the early access version right now for $29.99 in the US or for £22.99 in the UK. If you’re a fan of VR make sure to pick this up as it really is a blast to play.

The resident Brit of Outerhaven, however, don't expect refinement from me as I swear like a sailor and I will die on the hill I chose to fight on.
