Panzer Dragoon: Remake free update 1.3 now live

When Panzer Dragoon Remake was released for the Switch, we noted in our impressions story that the game had a number of issues that plagued the game. Thankfully the developer took note of these issues and had mentioned they had started work on a free update that would address these issues.

This update is live and not only does it address the issues, but it also adds several new features to the game. Including a new performance mode that bumps the game up to 60FPS, gyroscope controls, as well as a new episode.

Check out the entirety of the patch notes below.

As you can see, this patch addressed all of our concerns and really changes up the game quite a bit. This is how the game should have been when it was originally released, but I’m happy to see that despite the previous fumble the game is in a better state. This is the Panzer Dragoon Remake you need to play, hands down.

For now, Panzer Dragoon: Remake is only available for the Nintendo Switch, but will be made available for PC (Steam) during Winter 2020. That is unless it doesn’t get delayed due to COVID-19.
