Humble Bundle announces several upcoming titles and partnerships

By Keith MitchellMarch 24, 2020

Now that Humble Bundle has finally let the cat out of the bag, we can talk about the upcoming releases they’re working on. As mentioned during today’s “Humble Brag”, the company has two titles in the works; One Step From Eden and Fae Tactics.

That’s not all as Humble Bundle will also be working directly with a handful of developers on five upcoming games; Ambition: A Minuet in Power, Prodeus (looking forward to this gem), Wildfire, Ring of Pain and The Iron Oath. More information regarding the following games can be found below.

One Step From Eden – March 26th (PC, Nintendo Switch)

One Step from Eden combines strategic deck-building and real-time action with rogue-like elements, giving you the chance to carve a path of mercy or destruction. Fight alone or with a friend in co-op as you cast powerful spells on the fly, battle evolving enemies, and collect game-changing artifacts. Fans of Mega Man Battle Network will see a resemblance from this game.

Fae Tactics – Spring 2020 – (PC, Nintendo Switch)

In Fae Tactics, follow a young magic-user named Peony on her journey across a vibrant world full of mystery and danger. Summon allies, cast spells, and befriend a motley crew of characters as you dive into the growing conflicts between man and magical beings known as fae. This title looks similar to that of Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea, which suits me just fine.

Wildfire (PC)

Master the elements in this stealth game where everything burns, in Wildfire. Start fires, freeze water, and move earth itself to outsmart superstitious enemies who fear your power. Rescue captive villagers and reclaim your home by turning the environment against the army sent to hunt you down. Wildfire started as a Kickstarter title and was originally set to be released in 2016!

Ambition: A Minuet in Power (PC)

Ambition: A Minuet in Power, is a romantic, rogue-lite visual novel, where you play the role of a woman of fashion in 18th century Paris who’s been mysteriously abandoned by their fiancé. Seize love, wealth, and power, by any means necessary, in an adventure where your choices change the course of history. We had some hands-on with this title during PAX East 2020 and wrote up our impressions about the game.

Prodeus (PC/PS4/Xbox One/Switch)

Prodeus is a first-person shooter of old, re-imagined using modern rendering techniques. Featuring an easy to use level editor and in-game community map workshop, it aims to reach the quality you expect from a AAA experience while adhering to some of the aesthetic technical limits of older hardware. I helped Kickstart this game a while back and while it missed its original release date, I’m still looking forward to this. Especially due to the old school shooter vibe this game is giving off.

Ring of Pain (PC)

If you like Roguelikes and card games, then you’ll want to give Ring of Pain a look. A Randomized, dungeon crawling, card game, with lots of chaos to go around. No empty tiles, nowhere to hide. Manage inventory, strategize. Learn, adapt or face demise.

The Iron Oath (PC)

The Iron Oath is a turn-based tactical RPG set in a dark fantasy world. Recruit, manage, and embark on missions with a band of mercenaries, testing the limits of their mortality.

Look for more information regarding these titles shortly.
