Undead Lab’s State of Decay 2 Makes Its Way to Steam Early 2020

Microsoft is continuing the trend of bringing its first-party PC games over to the popular online storefront, Steam.

Announced recently, State of Decay 2, the second zombie apocalypse title from Undead Labs will make its way to Steam in early 2020. Thankfully, it was also mentioned that the game will support cross-play with both Xbox One and the Microsoft store. So you’ll have plenty of people to play alongside with when the game releases.

We currently don’t have an exact release date or pricing as of yet. However, you can wishlist the game over on Steam, right now.

Now, this isn’t the first time that State of Decay has been made available on Steam. The first game in the series is already available on the platform. As are several other games that include Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Gears of War 5 and several others. Not to mention that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is also heading to Steam, with Halo: Reach releasing on December 3rd, 2019.

This is all thanks to  Microsoft’s continued focus to make their first-party games (some at least) on multiple storefronts and platforms. A decision, that so far has been a success for the company.
