Earthfall: Alien Horde Guns for a Switch Release

By Henry BuehlerSeptember 18, 2019

Newly formed northwest developers Nimble announced today that their hit co-op FPS Earthfall was coming to the Nintendo Switch as Earthfall: Alien Horde on October 11th, 2019.

Earthfall: Alien Horde includes the original game, all of its updates, online, and four-player co-op exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

“Bringing Earthfall: Alien Horde to the Nintendo Switch made perfect sense to us,” said Nimble’s Russel Williams. “The ability to play with your friends anywhere — online or with local wireless play — is really going to be a fun and unique feature that works extremely well with our 4-player co-operative FPS. The Switch is a great console and Earthfall: Alien Horde is great on Switch. We hope everyone has fun taking on the apocalyptic horde of aliens and their overlords.”

Alien Horde includes 15 unique locations, 11  campaign chapters, 5 invasion maps, and a plethora of items to unlock. There’s also online play, local wireless co-op, and a procedurally generated alien horde to fight your way through. Strategically place barricades and sentries, work with your allies, and stay on your toes as you fight intense, visceral, battles against an alien menace invading your home.
