Xbox announces Gamescom livestream, has something big planned

By Keith MitchellAugust 14, 2019
Xbox at E3 2017

With Gamescom 2019 almost here, Microsoft has already let the world know that they can’t wait.

On August 19, 2019, Microsoft will host another “Inside Xbox” Livestream at 8 AM PT /11 AM AM ET. You’ll be able to watch this show on  Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

What can we expect to see during this presentation? Plenty, that’s for sure.  There’s going to be lots of Gears of Wars 5 shown, hopefully, we’ll finally get that story trailer. Other than this, we’ll see the Horde and Breakpoint modes in action. Likely more Escape as well.

However, that won’t be the entire show judging from the recent announcement. Battletoads (shown in the trailer), Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Wasteland 3, Empire of Sin, Greedfall, The Surge 2, Vigor, Metro Exodus, Blair Witch, Xbox Game Pass, X019 which takes in London later this year and more.

There’s even talk about new accessories! Something of which I wasn’t even aware that Microsoft was working on any new accessories for the Xbox or PC.

Looks like Microsoft wants to get this party started and I for one can’t wait to see what we’ll see. Maybe even a new look at their upcoming next-generation Xbox console, if we’re lucky.

So don’t miss the show, or if you do you’ll be able to catch it again via VOD.

Which game/s are you most excited for? We’d love to know in the comments!
