SDCC 2019: Kevin Feige Confirms X-Men and Fantastic Four Movies Are Coming

By Todd BlackJuly 20, 2019
X-Men

Marvel had a very busy time at their Hall H panel where they dropped all sorts of big news about their upcoming Phase 4 movies and their Disney+ series. But, just before the panel ended, Kevin Feige noted to the fans that there were some movies that hadn’t been revealed yet that fans can be sure are coming. And in that slew of reveals (which included Black Panther and Captain Marvel’s obvious sequel) was the note that Fantastic Four and “those mutants” are coming.

For the last two decades, the Fantastic Four and X-Men licenses have been owned by Fox. Resulting in a variety of movies from the good to the bad to the terrible Fantastic Four reboot. Anyway, Disney bought back those properties, so now they have the power to make them.

When will they come? We don’t know, it’s unclear at present. Feige said to “be patient”, and that’s fair given all the other movies they’re making.

But at least we know they’re coming.
