AX 2019: Tokyo Ghoul S Live-Action Movie Coming to U.S. Theaters

During its panel at Anime Expo, Funimation announced that they will be bringing Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul S live-action movie to U.S. theaters! This is the second live-action movie in the series which will see returning cast members reprise their roles along with new ones. While the movie is due out in September, Funimation is holding a screening at Anime Expo on Saturday, July 6 at 9:30 AM PDT.

The first film premiered at the 2017 Anime Expo and opened in Japan on July 29, 2017. The first Tokyo Ghoul movie also screened in U.S. theaters in October 2017.
