Team Sonic Racing – Behind the Scenes with Jun Senoue and Toriena

By Keith MitchellMarch 21, 2019
Team Sonic Racing - Interview with Jun Senoue and Toriena

Sega has been on a roll as of late, with the promotion of their upcoming racing title, Team Sonic Racing. Recently they’ve been releasing videos showing off the stages, as well as giving us a listen to the soundtrack that accompanies the game.

With their most recent video, we’re given “behind the scene” access with two of the artists behind the soundtrack for the game. An interview with Jun Senoue and Toriena. While many know of Jun Senoue, Toriena is a name that unless you follow the chiptune scene. You may not have heard of her, and if that’s the case, that’s quite the shame.

Thankfully, this interview gives a nice introduction to who she is and her involvement with the TSR soundtrack.

Watched the video? Good, now you can go check out some of Toriena’s work. Why? Because she’s super talented, she started making chiptune music many years ago and music that she has created is damned good. Seriously, really good stuff.

In fact, I’ve saved you some leg work. Just listen to some of her music below.

Good, isn’t it? Be sure to look up more of her works and them a listen.

Team Sonic Racing releases for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on May 21, 2019.
